Our Acquisition Strategy
Keystone Management’s strategy is to invest in mid-tier and secondary markets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States. We generally target multifamily communities with 100 to 500 units; however, we would consider smaller properties if located near our current management locations. We prefer communities that have a balanced mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments. Amenities such as pools, gyms, dog parks, clubhouse, and washer dryer hookups are a plus.
Investment Guidelines:
- Garden Style, Townhouse, Mid Rise (preferably greater than 100 units)
- Single asset or group of assets
- All cash or existing assumable financing in place
Long Term Ownership:
As a family-owned company, Keystone Management has a philosophy of long-term ownership. Over the Company’s 40 year history less than 1% of the properties have been sold. Instead of selling, ownership continuously reinvests in its properties. By perpetually improving its communities Keystone Management is able to enhance its residents’ experience as well as maintain extremely low vacancy.
